Raleigh Wedding at City Club
Raleigh Wedding at City Club.
Marshall and Liz tied the knot at the City Club Raleigh in North Carolina.
What was your wedding day vision? Timeless, soft or simple elegance. We didn’t want anything that would be found in “Hottest Wedding Trends of 2017” articles or anything like that. Our color palette was mixes of blushes, burgundies, creams, coupled with greens and pops of gold and navy.
Describe the highlight of your day:
Marshall – I have so many I have to pick at least a top 3; 1 – seeing Liz walk down the aisle. She looked beautiful and I absolutely 100% cried. 2 – finally putting faces to names of Liz’s (and now my) family. We had been shown a lot of love with cards and gifts in the mail from the day we got engaged so it was great to finally see the side of the family that came from out of town. 3 – our exit was great and we got a ride from Crankarm’s Rickshaw service and our “driver” rode us around a beautiful night in Raleigh and actually drove us UP IN TO THE BAR and we ordered our first beers as husband and wife. Pretty neat, everyone in Crankarm thought it was too cool!
Liz – Dancing with everyone was awesome, and seeing everyone come in from all over the place (Wisconsin, Illinois, Seattle, Virginia, Ohio…I mean all over) added to the day tremendously because its not very often everyone gets to be in the same place at the same time!
Anything you want to share?
We just want to give a HUGE thank you to all of the vendors that made our day the best day of our lives; Krystal’s photography captured our day perfectly with the vision that we had for our day (timeless, simple elegance), Jessica with Happily Ever After event planning did an amazing job helping us pick out linens and get everything organized, Greg from Brides and Bouquets nailed the floral arrangements and got our color palette just right, Cinda from Cinda’s Creative Cakes is a true artist in her craft (additional info here, go with the Sweet Potato Cake…SO good), Matt with Ultra Mix Events was a great DJ and tailored the music to our crowd and made everyone feel involved, City Club was a perfect venue to show off Raleigh to everyone that came from out of town and hadn’t visited Raleigh before, and St. Andrews of Apex made our ceremony beautiful and unforgettable.
