Taylors SC Wedding.

When I first met Paige and Josh, I quickly learned that they are two of the sweetest souls I’ve had the privilege of working with. Paige found me on The Knot, and I’m so glad she did. Though I meet lots of awesome people doing this job, there are those it seems like you’ve known forever. We first met for their engagement session in Greer, SC. We ran around downtown Greer, then to some picturesque areas in the outskirts of Greenville, ending near Josh’s childhood home. During our drive to one of the locations, Josh learned from me that my son loved trains. Immediately, he gave a call to his father, whom was a long time railroader. He asked his father if he could gather a few pieces of railroad memorabilia for my son. His father obliged and it was such a treat for my son to receive such awesome gifts. Josh certainly didn’t have to do this, but this was the first glimpse I got into seeing how kind of a person he is. During this session I also met his parents, and they were just as sweet as the couple that led me to them.

Fast forward to their spring wedding at Mt. Lebanon Baptist Church in Greer, SC. The weather had been all over the place for basically the entire month, so it worked out pretty well that they chose an indoor ceremony location. One of my favorite parts of the day was hearing each of them read the letters they had written. One thing that stuck with me was when Paige told Josh (in her letter) that she never dreamt about the white dress that she would get to wear, or all the pretty flowers, all she dreamt about was Josh. It was clear, before I ever heard the letters read, these two were madly in love. It was an honor to be a part of it all.

Paige and Josh chose Edinburgh West in Taylors, SC as the location for their reception. The sweet moments continued. It was a night filled with laughter, some tears, and lots of dancing. It was one of those nights one hates to see end. Again, such a joy to witness all of the love in the air.
