Old Wide Awake Plantation Wedding.
Kelley always dreamed of a backyard wedding and she said that Old Wide Awake provided that for them & their 175 guests!
The day started out with Kelley & all of her bridesmaids hanging out upstairs at the old house getting their hair and makeup done while lounging in cute floral two piece pj’s.
Kelley wore a gorgeous long sleeved lace dress along with a necklace made from her grandmothers diamond engagement ring. The bridesmaids wore a lovely two piece ensemble from Jenny Yoo. Ryan and the boys wore dark blue suits with blue striped ties.
The ceremony took place down the street at Old Wide Awake Park under an oak tree overlooking the marsh.
When cocktail hour ended everyone followed the bride and groom from the park down the road to the plantation house where they caught a view of the plantation house and al fresco style dining under cafe lights that awaited them. Kelley’s sister created the seating “cards” which were giant magnolia leaves where she wrote everyones name in calligraphy (she even took some classes before the wedding for this particular DIY project)
