From the bride: My favorite moment, outside of marrying a stud, on my wedding day was the minute my dad saw me in my wedding dress and turned into a puddle. He doesn't cry often (maybe 3 times my whole life) and he did not hold back that day. Watching my dad and his dad and our families become one was just mesmerizing. Everyone got along perfectly, everyone loved on us so much, and we left with the fullest hearts! It was flawless.

Q: Do you have any wedding planning or marriage advice that you'd like to share with other couples planning their day?

A: TRY NOT TO STRESS. Everyone says that... I know I know. But SERIOUSLY, at the end of the day you'll be married to the person you want to spend the rest of your life with no matter what goes right or wrong. No one cares about the table cloth color, no one cares about if it rains, no one cares about if the DJ plays the wrong song at the wrong time, no one. YOU DO. YOU WILL STRESS IT. BUT YOU SHOULD NOT. Focus on what your end goal was, is, and will be and then go to bed that night and wake up the next day with your husband and it is all going to be worth it! It's one day in the grand scheme of forever and it will be perfect no matter what happens!

Q: How did you meet? Tell us about the proposal.

A: Luke and I met in the library at Clemson. He was studying, I was not, and we were definitely the loudest table in the library. We spent the whole night cracking jokes and hanging out with our friends in the library. Before we knew it, the night had gone by and it was time for class. From that day, I knew that Luke was my forever. We dated for 5 years before Luke finally asked my dad if we could get married. He planned an elaborate proposal with a photographer and fancy dinner and all of the things a girl can dream of .... WELLLLLLL Hurricane Matthew was heading towards Charleston and Luke did not check the weather. We evacuated to the Upstate where my parents live and waited out the storm. One night during the trip, Luke and I went to an Irish pub with my brothers and enjoyed a couple of beers and a lot of darts. That night Luke spilled the beans. He asked me to marry him, showed me the ring, and we both just laughed and cried and laughed and cried! The next morning, Luke took the ring back... yes, i'm not kidding. He told me he could not propose that way and insisted on getting a "do-over." I have always been a no take backsies kind of girl so obviously this was not the plan I wanted!! haha! After a few weeks, Luke finally popped the question again with the help of our fur baby, Tilly, and the rest is history. After 6 1/2 years, we finally are married and he is the best thing that's ever happened to me and I know that I have to be a good decision for him if he asked me twice.
