The Farm on Salem Church Wedding Inspo

The Farm on Salem Church Wedding Inspo.

This editorial took place at the beautiful Farm on Salem Church in the heart of Eastern North Carolina. The Bride and Groom got ready for their big day inside the 19th century plantation home while the ceremony and reception took place outside in the back gardens of the house. The bride chose to keep things classic and timeless with her gold diamond stud earrings, blush pumps, Chanel No. 5, and her oval halo engagement ring. The groom's getting ready area was complete with leather accents and a well stocked bar cart.

The couple's invitation showcased the simplicity and natural beauty that was the theme behind their wedding day, complete with calligraphy and greenery. A wooden arbor cascading with greenery and the venue's main garden behind it served as the most gorgeous ceremony backdrop. The bride wore a stunning open back halter gown with lace detailing on the bodice and a tulle skirt with blush undertones. She wore a handmade gold leaf headpiece that accented her greenery bouquet perfectly. Her groom wore leather suspenders, a bowtie, handmade by a local company, and a boutonniere of greenery.

The sweet heart table was a wooden farmhouse table imported from France with blue french style chairs, topped with a moss runner and green and gold decor. The simple white china sat atop gold chargers with green vintage water goblets, and crystal champagne glasses. The couple opted for gold geometric terrariums, holding succulents and surrounded by taper candles as their centerpiece. For cocktail hour the couple sipped their signature drink of lemon rosemary cocktails and enjoyed a charcuterie board together. The dinner menu had a large variety of the bride and groom's favorite foods from Mexican shrimp tostadas, garlic pineapple grilled salmon, fresh ceviche atop veggies, and southern biscuits.

For their couples portraits the two wanted to showcase the plantation house, the beautiful gardens, and their fun loving demeanor.
